Kapital Bank at the IX International Banking Forum

With the support of the Azerbaijan Banks Association and the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan, sponsored by Kapital Bank and with the assistance of the Center for Analysis and Communication of Economic Reforms, the traditional IX International Banking Forum “Reliable, Safe and Sustainable Banking” successfully concluded.
The forum provided a broad platform for discussing the transition to a cashless economy, digital transformation in the financial sector, innovation, and sustainable banking trends. Over the course of two days, participants explored forward-looking strategies aimed at strengthening financial resilience, modernizing the banking sector, and enabling all stakeholders to fully leverage digital opportunities.
Representatives of Kapital Bank participated in key forum panels, sharing their extensive knowledge and practical experience on the most relevant topics in the banking industry.
Ilkin Bilalli, Business Risk Technology leader at Kapital Bank, spoke on the panel “The power of analytics: from traditional to digital banking” with a presentation titled “Practical application of FinScore in the real business environment.” He discussed the role of data-driven credit scoring models in enhancing the efficiency of digital lending, improving risk assessment accuracy, and optimizing decision-making processes.
Meanwhile, Elshad Ibrahimov, director of the Treasury Department at Kapital Bank, participated in the panel “Modern capital markets and investment operations”, where he discussed “Blockchain, the future of banking, and international capital flows.” In his presentation, he highlighted the potential of blockchain technology to transform financial services, particularly in increasing the transparency and speed of international investment operations.
Over two days, the forum provided participants with a rich platform to discuss innovations in the financial sector, digital opportunities, and sustainable banking practices.
