Executive Board

Farid Huseynov was appointed Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer by the General Meeting of Shareholders on May 5, 2023.

Mr. Huseynov graduated from the Azerbaijan State University of Economics with a bachelor's degree in Finance and Credit in 2003 and a master's degree in 2005. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics.

Farid Huseynov began his career at Bank of Baku OJSC, where he worked from 2001 to 2015. He held various positions including Specialist, Senior Specialist, Head of Division, Branch Director, Head of Department, Deputy Chairman of the Board in 2007, First Deputy Chairman of the Board in 2011, and Chairman of the Board in 2013.

He joined Kapital Bank OJSC on May 1, 2015, as Deputy Chairman of the Board and Chief Operations Officer. On February 17, 2017, he was promoted to First Deputy Chairman of the Board till 2023.

Fargana Mammadova graduated from Baku State University with a degree in International Law in 1997.

Ms. Mammadova began her career as a History and Law teacher at School No. 14 in Ali-Bayramli from 1998 to 2000. She then worked at "SOS Children's Villages-Azerbaijan" Association from 2000 to 2010, where she held various positions including Secretary, Pedagogue, Pedagogical Advisor, and National Director.

From 2012 to 2015, she worked at Bank of Baku OJSC as a Lead Expert, Head of Department, and from January 21, 2013, as the Director of the Human Resources Department.

Fargana Mammadova joined Kapital Bank OJSC on May 8, 2015, as Director of the Human Resources Department. On July 27, 2023, she was appointed Chief Human Capital and Organizational Development Officer.

Kamal Abdullayev graduated from the National Aviation Academy with a degree in Economics and Management of Production and Services in 2010. He also completed his MBA from IE University in 2019.

Mr. Abdullayev began his career at BP Exploration (Caspian Sea) LTD, where he worked as a Guard and Head Guard from 2001 to 2007. From 2007 to 2013, he held various positions at PASHA Bank, including Expert, Manager, Senior Operator, and Head of Division.

Kamal Abdullayev joined Kapital Bank OJSC on July 29, 2013, as Director of the Compliance Department. On April 1, 2019, he was promoted to Chief Compliance Officer, and on November 1, 2019, he became the General Director of the Legal and Compliance Division. On November 3, 2023, he was appointed Chief Compliance Officer.

Emin Mammadov graduated from the Azerbaijan State University of Economics with a bachelor's degree in International Economic Relations in 2007. He later completed a master's degree in Finance and Credit from Khazar University in 2011. Mr. Mammadov also gained his MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business during the years of 2015-2017.

Mr. Mammadov began his career at Bank of Baku OJSC, where he worked from 2007 to 2008 in various roles including Junior Expert, Expert, Lead Specialist, and Deputy Director. On January 5, 2011, he was appointed Director of the Asset/Liability Management and Budget Planning Department.

He joined Kapital Bank OJSC on December 3, 2013, as Director of the Finance Department. On January 5, 2016, he was appointed Chief Financial Officer.

Javid Mirzayev graduated from the Azerbaijan State University of Economics with a bachelor's degree in Finance and Credit in 2004 and a master's degree in Economic Regulation in 2008.

Mr. Mirzayev began his career at the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, where he worked from 2004 to 2014 in various positions including Economist, Lead Economist, Senior Economist, Senior Specialist, and Head of Banking Group./Liability Management and Budget Planning Department.

He joined Kapital Bank OJSC on April 7, 2014, as Head of the Risk Management Department. On January 5, 2016, he was appointed Chief Risk Officer.

Farid Hidayatzade graduated from the Azerbaijan State University of Economics with a bachelor's degree in International Economic Relations in 2003 and a master's degree in Finance and Credit in 2008.

Mr. Hidayatzade began his career at “Bakelectro” OJSC, where he worked as an Engineer-Programmer from 2001 to 2005. From 2005 to 2008, he served at Kapital Bank OJSC's Nasimi Branch No. 1 as an Accountant, Specialist, and Lead Specialist. From 2008 to 2013, he held various positions at PASHA Bank, including Head of Department, Manager, Client Manager, and Senior Client Manager./Liability Management and Budget Planning Department.

Farid Hidayatzade rejoined Kapital Bank OJSC on July 29, 2013, as Director of the Corporate Banking Department. On May 10, 2018, he was promoted to Chief Corporate Sales Officer. On November 1, 2019, he became General Director of Corporate and SME Sales Division. On May 25, 2023, he was appointed Chief Corporate Sales Officer.
