“Qəhrəmanlar bağı” initiative implemented in Goygol

Since 2021, the Red Hearts Foundation has been carrying out tree-planting initiatives in various cities and districts across the country to honor and perpetuate the bright memory of the heroic sons of Azerbaijan who fell in the First and Second Karabakh Wars. As part of the project, each city and district plants a number of trees corresponding to the number of martyrs who rose to the peak of heroism. The initiative also aims to contribute to the improvement of Azerbaijan’s environmental landscape.

The latest tree-planting campaign was held in the city of Goygol with the support of PAŞA Holding. On a specially designated area allocated by the Goygol District Executive Authority, 175 evergreen trees were planted in memory of the martyrs. Families of martyrs, veterans, representatives of the local community, as well as employees of Kapital Bank’s Goygol branch and Red Hearts Foundation took part in the “Qəhrəmanlar bağı” (Heroes’ gardens) initiative. The event was held with the support of the Goygol District Executive Authority.

With this latest initiative, the number of “Qəhrəmanlar bağı” established across the country has reached 30. The maintenance of the planted trees, including irrigation and other necessary care measures, is carried out by local executive authorities.

“Red Hearts” was founded in December 2019 at the initiative of Kapital Bank employees. The organization, which operates as a foundation from 2020, mainly contributes to the formation of a culture of philanthropy in our country. Addressing sensitive and important issues such as environmental protection, ecological balance restoration, education, training, and enlightenment, “Red Hearts” engages in social initiatives.
