Our CSR Projects

From education and culture to community support, our projects are designed to make a meaningful difference.

The Red Hearts story began in early 2020 with a small group of volunteers from Kapital Bank. What started as an initiative of just 49 people quickly grew into a movement, attracting like-minded, charitable individuals and expanding to 200 members. The team's impact was felt across the country as they provided unwavering material and moral support to the families of soldiers, veterans, and martyrs of the Patriotic War. They also extended a helping hand to thousands of families during the COVID-19 lockdown and on special holidays.

This rapid growth and significant impact led to a new chapter. On December 15, 2020, the initiative was formalized and officially registered as the Red Hearts Foundation. Today, its reach is global, with Azerbaijanis from both home and abroad joining its ranks to support our society's most vulnerable members and actively contribute to its cause.

Retirees represent a significant segment of Kapital Bank's customer base. However, extensive research indicates that the quality of life, psychological well-being, and morale of individuals can decline as they enter this stage of life, creating a need for targeted support. For this reason, in 2018, we initiated a partnership with the "Third Spring" Public Union and the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Azerbaijan. This collaboration resulted in the creation of the first "YAŞA" Center in Baku, designed to help retirees organize their leisure time in a more meaningful and effective way. Today, the "YAŞA" Center network has expanded to include branches in the cities of Mingachevir and Shamakhi.

The primary objective of the "YAŞA" Centers is to enhance the quality of life and promote inclusivity for older adults by safeguarding their mental and physical health. The centers offer a variety of daily programs, including educational courses, seminars, sports classes, and a series of meetings on diverse topics.

The future of Azerbaijan's financial sector depends on the next generation of professionals. That is why we are proud to partner with the Ministry of Education on key initiatives that inspire young minds. As a financial partner, we support prestigious events like the International and Republican Subject Olympiads, the National Education Exhibition, and innovative programs like the "Education Bus," which helps students build essential soft skills.

Our commitment extends to higher education through strong collaborations with leading universities such as ADA University, UNEC, ASOIU, and Baku Engineering University. Through these partnerships, we engage with students via regular Career Days, workshops, and conferences. We also offer dedicated internship programs at Kapital Bank, providing a clear pathway to employment for high-achieving participants.

In 2025, we took a major step towards true accessibility by launching the country's first-ever "Sign Language Video Call Service" for the banking sector, integrated directly into our Birbank app. This feature is dedicated to serving our customers who are deaf or have speech impairments.

For a community of over 3 million users, this service dismantles a critical barrier, making banking more accessible. We are confident that this important step on our journey to barrier-free banking will foster equal opportunities and help us all connect more easily.
